Our Projects

There is a proposed cut block on Elphinstone scheduled originally to happen in Sept 2017 but has been deferred several times as our camp has been present. Currently it is scheduled for Sept. 2019. We have several projects for our camp. Our most important project, which is not listed below, is to gather more passionate and knowledgeable activists to join the team!

Forest Protection Camp Blockade

The forest protection camp was set up on July 1st, 2017 to prevent the clear cut logging of rare natural forest areas.

Scheduled to begin in September of that year, a huge area above Roberts Creek faced certain destruction and has now since been deferred until Sept. of 2019. 

Permaculture Food Forest

The Elphinstone Rainbow Warriors believe that conventional corporate agriculturally produced food is a toxic industry, that it weakens the soil and pollutes the land, air, and water in the process in many different ways.

Our aim is to use permaculture techniques to freely and sustainably create abundance for all.

Building Non-Permanent Structures

The Elphinstone Rainbow Warriors aim to live simply and sustainably. We plan to work towards living in structures made from locally and sustainably harvested materials as much as possible to reduce our impact on our mother earth and all life.
